The decision was made to keep Tara in Brisbane until Friday or Saturday. This morning, her nasal gastric tube was finally removed, meaning she is now totally tube and monitor free for the first time since she was born. Mum is now staying at the hospital during the nights, and Tara is sleeping right next to her, breast feeding on demand. She is feeding well and sleeping a lot, gathering her strength for the trip home in the next few days.
