Tara was moved into a different room today, as her recovery continues. She is being fed expressed breast milk every three hours (only 1mL each feed) and is pretty cranky - the drain in her chest is painful, and she is very hungry. She is alert and responsive, and once the chest drain is removed, she will be able to be weighed and have cuddles. Tomorrow she will go in for a contrast test, where fluid is poured into the mouth and an xray is taken to make sure there is no leak in the oesophagus.
