During the night, Tara's breathing tube was removed, and she is now breathing on her own. Amazingly, days ahead of schedule, she was able to be fed breast milk through the gastric nasal tube, filling her tummy for the first time in her life. Several tubes were also removed from her limbs, and she can move relatively freely, and is quite alert. Mum, dad and sister Ash have settled in to Ronald McDonald House next to the hospital.
